Paul Gaillard

Principal

Paul is a Principal at LEC with over 10 years of experience in technology investing. Before joining LEC, he was a technology investor at Marlin Equity Partners, focusing on growth buyouts in the B2B software and tech-enabled services sectors across France and Europe.

He previously worked at GP Bullhound in London, advising high-growth software and digital businesses on M&A and growth financings, and helped open the firm’s Hong Kong office. Paul began his career at J.P. Morgan in Technology, Media & Telecoms investment banking and is a graduate from HEC Paris and INSA Lyon.

Paul was involved in investments including Tennaxia and Traace, Rydoo, Pentalog, Lengow and Linnworks.

Beyond the desk

Outside of the office, Paul balances time between mountain biking (he was Junior French Champion and part of the U23 French team in Cross Country), running Ultra Trails in the mountains, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
