Xavier Lazarus

Xavier is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Elaia and Lazard Elaia Capital, where he’s spent over two decades backing early-stage companies across software and internet sectors. Before Elaia, he founded an e-learning startup later acquired by a French publisher, and earlier in his career, he worked in algebraic geometry research at Université Paris-Sud. He also launched and led a venture business at CPR, prior to its acquisition by Crédit Agricole Indosuez. Xavier holds a PhD in Mathematics from École Normale Supérieure and the Agrégation.
